When life feels heavier than it used to
A calm place to slow things down, feel understood, and make sense of where you are - with care, clarity, and steadiness.
You may not know exactly what’s wrong - only that your capacity or energy has shifted
You’ve held a lot - and it’s okay to slow down here.
You might notice you’re more easily depleted, less patient with yourself or others, or carrying a quiet heaviness that wasn’t there before. On the outside, life may still look functional - work gets done, responsibilities are handled - but inside, things feel more effortful.
Many people who arrive here are capable and used to holding a lot. Over time, that way of coping can start to take a toll - even when nothing looks obviously “wrong.”
Noticing that what you’ve been holding is weighing too much on you is enough.
What working together is like
This is not about quick fixes.
Sessions move at a thoughtful pace, giving you room to slow down and be with what’s actually coming up. Rather than pushing toward answers or solutions, we begin by paying attention to your experience as it is - what you’re feeling, what’s holding your attention, and how what you’re carrying is affecting you. My role is to support you in relating to it differently, in a way that feels steady and supportive.
Working together is thoughtful, grounded, and paced. Sessions aren’t rushed, and there’s room to notice what’s coming up without needing to have it all figured out.
Over time, many people begin to notice:
where their energy is going
which situations or expectations feel harder to carry
why certain dynamics are no longer tolerable in the same way
This clarity doesn’t come from trying harder or thinking more. It comes from slowing down enough to listen.
You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.
The work is collaborative and thoughtfully paced. There’s space for honesty, depth, and reflection, without pressure to move faster than feels right. Change tends to unfold as understanding and capacity grow together, in a way that feels steady, grounded and sustainable.
If you’re not ready to reach out, you’re welcome to explore my reflections here.
How We Can Work Together
I offer a small number of ways to work together, each grounded in depth, pacing, and care.
The focus is less on fixing symptoms quickly, and more on creating conditions for meaningful, lasting change.
-
Support for people navigating chronic stress, burnout, health challenges, and long-standing patterns that often trace back to family dynamics - such as growing up feeling unseen, overly responsible, or having to manage other people’s emotions.
Sessions move at a steady, thoughtful pace, with space to understand what’s really having an impact and to begin relating to yourself and others differently over time.
Available to Ontario-based clients.
-
Support for couples who feel stuck in repeating patterns, miscommunication, or growing emotional distance - even when there is care and commitment on both sides.
Sessions move at a steady, thoughtful pace, focusing on what’s happening between you and how to shift patterns in ways that feel more connected over time.

Mindfulness-based programs grounded in extensive research showing benefits for stress, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, chronic pain, sleep difficulties, and emotional exhaustion. These programs are especially helpful for people who feel overwhelmed, stuck in their own heads, or worn down from managing too much for too long.
The work focuses on practical ways to slow things down, respond rather than react, reduce overthinking, and relate more kindly to yourself - particularly in situations that can’t simply be fixed.
Programs are structured, supportive, and designed to be accessible even if you’re already feeling depleted.Available worldwide.

Trauma-Focused & Trauma-Informed.
Trauma leaves a psychological and somatic imprint on us. Years after events have passed the body continues to respond as if the danger is still present.
As a result, I focus on not only understanding the connections between our trauma and our lives, but also on transforming how the mind, body, and soul remember our trauma.
-
Compassion-Focused.
My compassion-focused approach is impactful, especially during periods of great challenges when we can often find ourselves struggling with shame and criticism, which makes emotional regulation difficult.
Integrating self-compassion training into therapy helps you develop and work with experiences of inner warmth, safety and learning to self-soothe.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Mindfulness has been clinically proven to be beneficial to mental health. Bringing mindfulness into therapeutic approaches can enhance positive results.
Mindfulness techniques can provide grounding for dealing with difficulties, can help with distress tolerance and emotion regulation. They can also improve one’s awareness of triggers related to substance use, eating disorders, suicide ideation, and trauma.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative evidence-based therapeutic model that views each of us as having distinctive internal parts that have needed to adopt certain beliefs and roles as a way to help us navigate our world.
Our inner parts contain valuable qualities and our core Self knows how to heal, allowing us to become integrated and whole. In IFS all parts are welcome.
